CELEBRATING LIFE

Celebrating Life

The small details can make a huge impact in personalizing your loved one’s funeral service. There are many ways to celebrate and honor your loved one, their life, accomplishments, and individuality. Funeral directors can help you create a beautiful service that both honors the departed and helps the living begin to grieve.

Portraits

We offer custom portraits with collage of pictures from over your loved one life that we can have made for the service and afterwards you can take it home and hang it on your wall

Video Tributes

Gather photos of your loved one, and we can create a lasting tribute on DVD that can be played during visitation or a service. At no extra charge, we can also add a video link to the online obituary so friends and family anywhere in the world can view it. Additional copies of the DVD can be purchased by the bereaved.

Webcasting

At Jarnigan and Son, we know how important having a webcasting option is. Some family members are unable to attend the funeral, so having the ability to watch from anywhere is a great option.

Personalizing Caskets

There are many ways to add a special personal touch to your funeral or memorial service. The casket can also be personalized using embroidered overthrows and commemorative panels. These touches of personalization can also be used as individual keepsakes for family and friends.

Balloon Release

We can provide your family a bouquet of balloons in any color you wish. Our staff can coordinate and plan the release at any point during the service.

Dove Release

We can also provide your service with a dove release. A dove release can represent a soul’s ascent into Heaven and to remind us of the abundance of life. This addition is most meaningful for a graveside service.

Personalized Printed Material

We can add photos, memorial folders, a family prayer, or quotation included on prayer cards, books, or memorial folders.

Memorabilia Display Tables

Any special photos, memorabilia, and other items can be displayed during the service to reflect on the life of your departed one.

Bag Piper Musician & Others

The presence of Highland Bagpipes or other instruments can add a beautiful touch for any service. You can request that the bagpiper or other musician escort the casket from the funeral coach to the gravesite, or request to play at a distance before and after the service.

Military Honors

You can honor your loved Veteran in many ways. Based on the branch of service, we can offer Taps, color guard, a gun salute, or pallbearers. Also, you can apply for an American Flag and bronze marker through the Veterans Administration.

Website Obituary

Having an online obituary is another way to celebrate your loved one. Family and friends can see photos, leave condolences, etc.
